It is difficult to explain this rescue. Not because it was difficult but because it is heartbreaking to witness a dog that must have been in severe pain for several months. She is scared, because everything she knows never ends in pain. I have never seen a tumor of this size in a dog before.
Even ALMA’s rescue was really dramatic, everyone is racing and screaming. Then I noticed what she had on her leg. Victor larkel’s rescue crew fought hard to catch her and take her with them for care.
She is a small dog, and she has been in excruciating pain for months.
As far as you know, pain is normal, people are the enemy (she was even shot!) And life has to be endured at best. She deserves to be perceived as a wonderful, long-suffering dog!
“We are waiting for Alma’s CT scan report and biopsy results. In the meantime, she is being cared for around the clock in our hospital, where her tumor is disinfected and dressed every day.”Said Victor larkel
“She seems to realize that we are helping her and allows us to handle and feed her by hand. I guarantee you that we will do everything we can to preserve her life while preserving her leg she will receive everything she needs.”He added
Alma continues to be treated in the hospital. The surgery will take place at the end of the week. The suspicion is that this is a liposarcoma. Fortunately there is no malignant tumor! Veterinarians will do everything possible to preserve her limb.
Alma’s first bath was not easy-she is still terrified, but we managed to get rid of a whole lifetime of dirt, figuratively from negligence. She could not go to surgery like that. The day of her procedure is coming, we just need her anemia to improve a little more. It may be better, but it can definitely be worse! If anyone can save her limbs, it is this great society. With your help, we will not spare any expense!
Alma’s life is about to change! After her echocardiography certificate is suitable for surgery, she is in surgery at the moment. Tomorrow you will be able to view the full procedure. Alma after surgery will wake up a changed dog, devoid of pain and the enormous weight of that unattractive lump! Then you will need chemotherapy and rehabilitation.
