Rebecca Lynch and her husband were on vacation in Savannah. The couple stopped on the side of the road on the way back from Georgia. Despite the fact that everyone on vacation carries souvenirs, Rebecca knew that she wanted something more important to remember her trip.
There are several animal shelters in the state where they stayed, which is why the girl chose to adopt one of the local cats. The car has enough capacity to accommodate a four-legged passenger.
Rebecca heard about a terrier named Lizzie miraculously escaping euthanasia while preparing for such a move. The previous owners brought Lizzie, who was also pregnant, to the shelter knowing that the animal would be killed there. In addition to all the disasters, the animal broke its leg.
Rebecca realized that such a small animal has endured a lot and decided that, more than others, it needs a home and caring owners. Lizzie rested contentedly on a blanket arranged for her in the back seat of the Lynch family’s vehicle as she walked away from the Georgia shelter.
The dog was worried for the first few hours in the car, but soon realized that no one would hurt him. On the way, the unexpected happened: Lizzie went into labor. Maybe it’s time for her to become a mother, or maybe she finally realized that these people will take care of her as well as the children.
Rebecca, who has just become the owner of the dog, also tried her hand at being a midwife, helping the dog and taking care of his puppies.
Lizzy gave birth to three dogs on the way to the vet’s office, and another was born during the reception and under the supervision of doctors. The remaining two children were born on the move.
Lizzie and her kittens are fine, but they had to stay at the vet for a few days so the experts could check them out completely. After the clinic, the family moves to their new home, where the extrajudicial executions have already begun to arrange everything for mom and the comfort of her children. When the puppies grow up and become stronger, the girl will find excellent owners for each of them.
