Rescuers Were In Disbelief After They Saw 2 Abandoned Dogs With A Note Outside The Shelter

Due to unexpected life circumstances, dog owners are sometimes faced with heartbreaking decisions of surrendering their dogs to shelters.

Dogs who are abandoned do not understand why they must continue their lives without their beloved owners.

Bella and Bobby’s hearts were filled with sadness after they found themselves in front of a shelter.

Feeling confused and scared, the two pups cowered in a small pink crate, wondering why they were left all alone.

When a clinic staffer at Pennsylvania SPCA came to work, they were surprised to see the crate and they rushed to see what was in it.

After the staffer approached the crate and read the note left on top, they were heartbroken.

The owner explained that it was their last day at home and that they had nowhere else to take their dogs.

“I love them so much. Please take care of them and find them a nice home,” a part of the note said.

After the kind-hearted human read the note, they looked at Bella and Bobby. The pups stared at them with eyes filled with sorrow and confusion.

The staffer brought the two eight-year-old Chihuahuas inside the shelter, fed them, and gave them water.

The scared doggos kept expecting to see their family members entering the shelter and running into their arms.

The staff consoled the two canines, hoping that they would soon overcome their sadness.

Bella and Bobby’s story touched the hearts of all who heard it.

“Everyone who read Bella and Bobby’s note had the same reaction — how sad and horrible to have to give up your dogs. Unfortunately, it is something that seems to be happening more and more,” a Pennsylvania SPCA representative told The Dodo.

The shelter staff fell in love with the two sweet canines and they spent a lot of time cuddling them, trying to make them feel secure.

Bella and Bobby soon realized that they were in good hands.

The more time the pups spent at the shelter, the more they got used to their new living environment.
