Doggy daycares are really an amazing environment for dogs. While there, they can spend all of their time socializing with other pooches.
It’s also great because the staff there can organize fun activities for all of them and it’s always a good time for any pup.
In fact, some dogs get so excited to go to the daycare that their excitement makes them do very funny things.
When this owner took her dog, Chessie, to her favorite daycare in Michigan, the pup was just so happy. However, what she did next surprised even her mom.
Well That Was Unexpected
Chessie’s excitement was through the roof, and when they entered Doggy Daycare and Spa, the first thing she did was just jump over the counter to greet her favorite worker there.
The owner couldn’t contain her laughter the whole time, because she did not expect this kind of reaction from her dog.
However, Makenzy Burman, the manager at the daycare, noted that this was not unusual. Chessie is at the daycare three times a week and this is how she likes to greet her.
Normally, she would go around the table and politely greet her, but this time was different. Given that she couldn’t contain her excitement, it was no surprise she jumped over the counter.
While Burman certainly didn’t expect Chessie to greet her like that, she has dealt with other dog’s excitement in many different ways.
All it really says is that all the dogs really love spending their time at the daycare and it’s a good sign that they are all well cared for.
Internet’s Surprise
Given how hilarious the entire situation was, the staff at the Doggy Daycare and Spa in Michigan decided to upload the CCTV footage on their facebook page.
There was no shortage of replies, as many people rushed to share their reactions to this dog’s excitement.
One person commented: “The way she nonchalantly moved her coffee tells me she’s a pro at being greeted by the dogs this way.”
Well, I also noticed that and I was immediately convinced that this was not the first time something like this happened to her.
Another person said: “How do you know your babies are being cared for without knowing they’re being cared for? They leave mom and jump the counter to give the daycare lady kisses!”
Well, if I needed extra proof that all the dogs were loved and well cared for in the daycare, then this comment was it.
Lastly, somebody commented: “As a doggie daycare worker I can tell you this is a normal greeting and we are never upset about it.”
Okay, well that confirms it. It’s really good to know that all the people who work at daycares really like dogs and would more than happily welcome this kind of a greeting.
