When Gabrielle first signed up to foster a puppy she saw in the shelter, she didn’t quite imagine what would happen to her next.
She went to the shelter with excitement, only to learn one interesting fact: this puppy was not alone, she had 2 more siblings!
When Gabrielle realized this, she knew that she couldn’t just separate them, so she took all 3 puppies home immediately and became a proud puppy mom.
3 Adorable Puppies
So, she prepared a special place for the puppies. They had a serious case of mange, so they needed to be careful before moving them to a bed.
She had a big tub where she prepared blankets for them, and that is where they spent their first few weeks in the house.
They were so small that they weighed only 5 pounds combined. Gabrielle told The Dodo: “And they all blended into this little mushy mob in the corner of the bathtub.”
After their quarantine was over, Gabrielle decided to let the puppies meet everyone else at the house.
Now that they had more freedom to roam around and play, she really got to see 3 completely distinct personalities in these puppies.
Poppy was the social puppy and he loved playing all the time. It’s like she never got tired at all. Lulu was a bit more introverted. She liked playing, but relaxing was her preferred activity.
Tipper, on the other hand, just likes to “go with the flow” according to Gabrielle and she finds enjoyment in a lot of things.
She said: “They were just so captivating. They looked like little foxes, or – they just didn’t look like puppies!”
They Are Living A New Life
Around week five, Gabrielle noticed that the puppies were doing really well. Their health improved greatly. This meant that they could now be placed on an adoption list.
She started looking at applications because they were ready to find their forever homes. It was at the very start she knew that Tipper was not going anywhere.
Gabrielle was going to adopt her because the two of them already had a special bond and Tipper really liked being with her.
Soon enough, she was able to find a perfect home for Poppy and Lulu. She was so happy with the fact that these puppies were now living their best life with very good people.
She said: “They are all living happily ever after, and they’re so deserving of that.”
Now that they are all doing great, the 3 owners decided to organize a meetup for the puppies, so they could see each other again and play.
It was really wholesome to see them together again. They just played like they haven’t spent even one day apart.
Gabrielle is so proud of all the progress they have made and how they were able to find such loving people to take care of them.
